This external charger kit replaces the original internal charger, which is no longer available.
The kit includes a 24 Volt 6 Amp external battery charger and a conversion charger port that plugs directly into the scooter's existing wiring harness. The new charger port has a special key that prevents the original AC power cord from being plugged into it.
The 6 Amp charger replaces both the older 5 Amp chargers and the newer 7 Amp chargers.
Installation is straightforward: remove the original charger and charger port and install the new conversion charger port.
